Should I choose a bigger size thermal swimsuit so that my child can wear it for a longer period?

No, we do not recommend you to choose a thermal swimsuit size that fits your child loosely. Having a loose swimsuit for your youngster reduces its thermal function.

We understand parents' concerns that young kids will outgrow swimsuits fast. Therefore, we offer an exclusive trade-in program for our outgrown swimsuits.

How should I care for this thermal swimsuit?

We recommend hand washing this thermal swimsuit with mild detergent and hang it to dry in an airy place. It is not recommended to wash it with a washing machine as the aggressive spinning and heat could damage the neoprene material in the thermal swimsuit.
Can I exchange if the thermal swimsuit size I've chosen does not fit my child?

Yes, you can exchange your swimsuit size if your child doesn't fit the size you chose. The swimsuit must be in brand-new condition (i.e., not worn out) and have the label tag still attached to it.
How do I know which size to buy?

We strongly recommend you refer to our size chart which contains the actual measurements of the products and can be found on each product page. The sizes labeled according to age range are for reference only.
How is the thermal suit different from others?

In our signature thermal swimsuit collection, we use 2mm neoprene (wetsuit material). Neoprene material offers the best value because it is more durable and long-lasting than the usual thin stretchable fabric. 
Will my baby feel uncomfortable wearing such thick material?

No. Our thermal suits are made from 2 mm thick neoprene, which is thinner, softer, and more comfortable for your child. Also, when submerged in water, neoprene tends to expand slightly. 
What is UPF 50+ UV protection?

UPF is the UV Protection Factor rating which indicates how much of the sun’s ultraviolet rays can pass through the fabric. Wearing UPF50+ clothing can block around 98% of the sun's harmful rays.
Can your thermal swimsuit float?

No, a thermal swimsuit can't float but it adds buoyancy, making it easier to stay afloat in water. You can choose from our Floats products, which can assist children to learn swimming while gaining water confidence.

Would it be too hot for my kids to wear the thermal swimsuit?

No. When your baby gets out of the water, water evaporates from the skin, that is how your baby loses heat and feels cold. Our thermal suit has insulating properties that can protect them from wind chill. It is not suitable to be worn at room temperature.
Should thermal swimsuits be worn tight-fitting?

It is recommended to wear it snugly fit (fitting) to minimize the inflow and outflow of water, thus creating a layer of insulation from cold between the thermal suits and the baby’s tender skin.
Does my kids still need to wear a normal swimsuit inside before wearing your thermal swimsuit?

No, your kids only need to wear our thermal swimsuit.
Is this swimsuit a thermal one that keeps you warm?

Yes, all our swimsuits use neoprene material that can keep your kids warm in and out of water.
Can this swimsuit be used in a warm pool?

Yes, your kids can use a thermal swimsuit in a warm pool. Thermal swimsuits provide insulation, which might make them feel slightly warmer than regular swimsuits in a heated pool.

However, they can still be worn comfortably in warm water, offering extra insulation and keeping kids comfortable while swimming.
What is the difference between Warmiebabes and Chittybabes Thermal Swimsuits?

Closure type and material differ. Warmiebabes thermal swimsuits are warmer due to their full neoprene and back zipper.

Chittybabes thermal swimsuits have back velcro for easy adjustment. Neoprene covering the body and lycra on the arms make it easier for your child to move their hands.
