CHILDREN’S EYES ARE MORE SENSITIVE TO SALT WATER OR CHLORINATED WATER THAN ADULTS.

Prolonged exposure to salt water or chlorinated-water will not cause any permanent damage to their eyes but will still hurt their eyes. One of the issues that most children encounter during water play is skin allergy and eye irritation, which causes itchiness and redness. It causes discomfort and prevents them from enjoying water play to the fullest.

Most of the goggles sold in the market are made from silicon strap, which many children might find it hard to put on and impossible to adjust. There is no doubt that the level of frustration parents experience trying to adjust and fit painful swim goggles on their already nervous kids faces is an unpleasant one.

According to the professional guidelines of the Derby Phoenix Swimming Club, a pair of well-fitting goggles will completely seal out water without having to over tighten the strap! If the goggles’ straps are very tight and cause pain or discomfort, they are not a good fit.

Surprisingly, we identified that most parents were facing the same problem – kids were getting cranky in water and not having a fun experience.

Unlike the usual tangled goggles, Booggles are made from neoprene strap which is lightweight and floatable! Definitely a plus point for kids during their water play adventure as they can easily pick up the goggles without having to pick it up from the bottom of the pool!
